Obituary for Silas J. Clark

CLARK, SILAS J., 71, Northern Cambria, passed away June 12, 2018. Born December 23, 1946 in Spangler. Preceded in death by mother, Grace (Myers) Cook, step-father, Frank Cook; brother-in-law, George Mikitko and nephew, Brandon Mikitko. Survived by fiance, Mildred Bills, Northern Cambria; siblings, Debbie Clark, Patton; Patricia (Bill) Henico, Hastings; Frank (Val) Cook, Northern Cambria and Carol Mikitko (Lou), Hastings; nieces and nephews, Melissa, Michael, Terri, Jessica, Frank, Bradley, Taylor, Dillon, Kennedy and Gracie. He is also survived by his fiance’s children, Laurie Yeckley, Darren Bills and Randall “R.K.” Bills. US Army Veteran and member of Carrolltown American Legion Post 506 and St. Benedict VFW Post 7783. Retired coal miner and factory worker. Friends will be received from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Bernard Catholic Church. Fr. Thaddeus Rettger, OSB, celebrant. Committal, Sacred Heart Cemetery, Elmora. Military honors by local veterans organizations.
