Dorothy A. Shultz

SHULTZ, DOROTHY A. (Lamer), 83, St. Benedict, passed away October 17, 2016. Born March 6, 1933, in Ebensburg, the daughter of Elles and Emma (Keith) Lamer. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Joseph, who die October 6, 1980; son, Ronald Lee Shultz, who died June 11, 1991; long-time companion, John Tuley; Terry Petrunak; brothers, Russell, Orrie, Walter and Sylvester "Wess" Lamer; and sisters, Odessa Lamer, Cora Beckel and Esther Bacho-Kalakey. She is survived by daughter, Darlene, wife of James Tutsock, St. Benedict; sisters, Matilda Nealen, Shelva Jean (Ralph) Wolfe, Lucille Deyarmin, Ann (Fred) Saxon; and brother, Charlie (Karen) Lamer. Also survived by special friend, Celeste Petrunak and her sons, Donald and Shawn Petrunak, who Dorothy considered "her little angels". Long-time member of St. Benedict Presbyterian Church and active member of Northern Cambria Senior Center. She enjoyed traveling and visited many interesting places through the years and lived by the motto "I won't let any grass grow under my feet" Friends and family will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.
