James Rematt Obituary

REMATT, JAMES, 82, Carrolltown, passed away July 6, 2016, at Miners Medical Center, Hastings. Born January 10, 1934, in Spangler, the son of Antonio and Hortense (Delso) Rematt. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Anthony F. Rematt. Survived by loving wife of 55 years, Janet F. (Tubo) Rematt; sons, Brian Rematt, husband of Beverly (Baron), Northern Cambria; and Michael Rematt, husband of Blanca (Ortega), Leonardtown, MD and grandchildren, Hanna Rematt Carnevali, Ivana and Anthony Rematt. Brother of David Rematt, Northern Cambria and Margaret Rematt, Carrolltown. US Army Veteran. Retired Railroad worker. Jim enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and gardening. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing or visitation. A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Saturday August 13, 2016, at the Contres-Greer Hall, Northern Cambria.
