SAXON, PAUL A., 66, Northern Cambria, passed away June 30, 2017, at VA Medical Center, Pittsburgh. Born November 26, 1950, in Spangler, the son of Michael and Emogene (Jackson) Saxon. Preceded in death by mother; survived by father, of Nicktown; loving wife of 46 years, Joyce (Bresnock) Saxon; daughter, Jennifer, wife of Robert "Bob" Mitchell, Clearfield; son, Jeremy Saxon, Northern Cambria; grandchildren, Katlyn, Kylee and Kelsey Mitchell and great-grandson, Landen Buck. Brother of Nancy Saxon (Deb Wagner), Nicktown; Cindy (Fred) Biter, Ebensburg; Donald (Linda) Saxon, Nicktown; Pamela (Bill) Roland, Westover; and Thomas (Karen) Saxon, Emeigh; also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. US Navy Veteran and member of American Legion Post 506, Carrolltown. Formerly employed as a coal miner, woodworking craftsman, truck and bus driver. Member of Carrolltown Fireman's Club and Bakerton Rod & Gun Club. Friends will be received from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Military Honors by local Veterans Organizations.
