KLINE, ALFRED J. “Doc”, 95, Hastings, passed away March 20, 2024, at home. Born July 17, 1928, in Hastings, the last surviving member of the Victor and Rose (Holtz) Kline family. Preceded in death by parents; loving wife Dorothy (Koelsch) Kline who died February 23, 2017; and these siblings, Joseph, Louis, Regis, Richard, Aurelius “Hon”, and William Kline, Ann Kanik, Betty Graves, Rose Marie Lieb, and Mildred Rosenhamer. Survived by children, Diane (Jeffrey) Stephens, Hollidaysburg; Donna (David) Cook, Ebensburg; David (Beverly) Kline, Hastings; Denise (Thomas) Paronish, Northern Cambria; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and another soon to arrive in June. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Mary Englert, Betty Kline, and Virginia Kline. Formerly employed as a certified pipe welder for Bethlehem Steel. A life-long farmer and owner of Kline Homestead Farms where he worked alongside his wife, son, and grandchildren. Member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Hastings, and the Holy Name Society; PA Farm Bureau, and Life member of Loyal Order of Moose. Family and friends will be received from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2024, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Hastings. Fr. Thaddeus Rettger, OSB celebrant. Committal, St. Bernard Cemetery.
