FROUM, ALFRED L. “Pete”, 85, Cherry Tree, passed away November 8, 2024, at home. Born February 2, 1939, the son of Eugene and Emma Faye (Rummel) Froum. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Verla (Wyatt) Froum; and brother, Clarence Sweitzer. Survived by daughters, Patty Henry, Shelocta and Vickie (Kirby) Goss, Cherry Tree; Timothy Froum, Cherry Tree; step-children, Michael Fogle (Holly Langhage), Patton; and Shannon (Jason) Waugaman, Cherry Tree. Also 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Brother of Joseph Sweitzer, Quarryville and Linda Means, Florida. Alfred was a US Army Veteran and retired coal miner from Greenwich Collieries Mines. All services will be private. Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements.
