Alice Mae (Stevenson) Davis

DAVIS, ALICE MAE, 86, Cherry Tree, passed away August 21, 2025, at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh.   Born January 13, 1939, in Bloomington, IL, the daughter of Charles and Mary Jane (Arms) Stevenson.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, William Paul Davis Sr.; infant children, Michelle, Mary, Steven and Kenneth; and siblings, Magaline, James, Thomas, Bessie, Margaret, Gladys, Charles, Luther, and Stella.  Survived by loving children, E. Jane Davis (Joann Hazlett), Vandergrift; Alice M. (Herbert) Beck, Cherry Tree; Kimberly (Paul) Trout, Northern Cambria; and William Paul Davis Jr. (Darlene Waugaman), Cherry Tree.   She was the proud grandmother of twelve grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren, with two more expected.  Also surviving are siblings Ruby Scott, Charolette Ford, and Lawerence Stevenson.  Alice loved spending time with her family, tending to her flower gardens, especially her roses, shopping, and enjoying meals at Perkins Restaurant, where she had a special waitress who always brightened her visits.  She adored her grandchildren and was especially proud to see her family grow to six generations.  Family and friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.  Pastor Tim Bash officiating.   Interment, Citizens Cemetery.
