GRAY, ANNA DELORES, 92, passed away July 2, 2025.  Born September 4, 1932, in Barr Twp., the youngest of 18 children born to Simon and Gertrude (MacDonald) Gray.  Preceded in death by parents; grandparents, William & Martha Jane (Long) McDonald and Michael and Amanda Jane Gardner (Tole) Gray; siblings, Charles Oscar, Martha “Zoe” Zoella, Theodore “Bud” Roosevelt, Blanford “Tom” Malzie, Amos “Pick” Valentine, Billy Sunday, Katherine “Kate” Mae, Carl Emberson, Violet Roseline, James Arthur, Elzie “Tan” Leroy, Walter “Nook” Raymond, Wilmer “Bob” Harold, Vincent “Bink” Ronald, Mary Jane “Matt”, Joseph Daniel, and Simon Jr; son, Raymond Robert Woods; grandsons, Raymond Robert Woods Jr. and Michael Aaron Cunningham.  She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Woods) Marino and husband Philip; granddaughter, Michelle Marino; grandson, Raymond Ryan Woods; great-grandsons, Noah, Ethan and Reese Cunningham; and Skylar and Hunter Marino.  Also, a vast number of cousins, nieces and nephews.  Anna touched many lives with her witty humor filled with raunchy one-line zingers, creativity and gregarious outgoing nature.  She was known to say the most shocking thing she could think of in hopes of helping people see a new perspective.  Anna was a generous friend and possessed an uncanny ability to connect to just about anyone.  Every stranger she connected with was a possible new friend.   She was passionate about arts & crafts, theatre and music.  She taught 4H for years and helped with crafts for her Church VBS as well as having her own private craft group for local children.  She was a lover of the arts and enjoyed taking her children and grandchildren to musicals, plays and concerts.  She enjoyed traveling and left behind a plethora of photos of her journeys throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.  She took every bus and train trip she could.  She took an entire summer to travel the U.S. & Mexico with her daughter.  Although she never played an instrument nor would she sing in public, she was always proud of her children who had a passion for music and played many instruments over the years.  Anna had a passion for gardening.  She took great pride in her rose garden in particular.  Her flower gardens always reminded her of her mother.  Anna loved animals, favoring Siamese cats.  Anna enjoyed writing short stories and poems.  She received several awards from writings that were submitted to magazines, papers and fairs.  She passed her love of writing onto both of her children.  Anna worked at various factories over the years.  She enjoyed seeing how things were made.  Most of all she took her job of motherhood very seriously, choosing to stay home with the children while they were young.  Anna was a very spiritual person.  She enjoyed studying various religions over the years.  She held her family and friends close in prayer her entire life.  She and her niece, June, shared prayers and prayer lists regularly.  Now that Anna has passed into the arms of our Lord, her physical life on earth is over, but it is the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for her.  Anna will be fondly remembered for her thoughtfulness through cards, letters and calls to check on you and yours.  As per Anna’s wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held.  Interment in Goodridge Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers and cards, the family requests donations be made to Wayward Whiskers Animal Rescue, Greensburg, PA.
