Arthur A. Lechene, Jr.

Lechene, Arthur, A. Jr., 75, Carrolltown, passed away May 7, 2021 at home.  Born July 14, 1945 in Spangler, the son of Arthur A. and Maxine Twila (Good) Lechene Sr.  Preceded in death by parents; brother, George Lechene and sister, Margaret Ferguson.  Survived by loving wife of 53 years, Charlotte L. (Stevens) Lechene; son, Thomas Lechene, Carrolltown.  Also survived by siblings; Elizabeth Movinsky, Westover; William Lechene, Patton; Dorothy Guie, Patton; Raymond Lechene, Carrolltown; Wanda Lechene, Northern Cambria; and Timothy Lechene; Patton.  Will be sadly missed by his furry companion Daisy.  Retired coalminer and truck driver.  Vietnam Army Veteran recipient of the Purple Heart.  Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown.  Life member of the Patton VFW Post 779, member of the Patton American Legion Post 614.  Friends will be received from 4:00 pm to time of service at 6:00 p.m. at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, with Military honors prior to services.
