BAKER, BARBARA J., 65, Northern Cambria, passed away October 6, 2023, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born February 20, 1958, in Spangler, daughter of the late John and Julia (Busha) Wasilko.  Survived by loving husband of 37 years, Dennis “Denny” Baker; son, Brad Baker “Turtle” (Brandi Sell); sister, Elizabeth “Bett”, wife of Dave Scelsky; and nephews, Joseph and Michael, all of Northern Cambria.  She will be missed by her cats, Benji & Leo and her grand-cat, Otis.  Barb was a caring person who enjoyed her 36 year career as a Registered Nurse working in the Labor & Delivery Department of Indiana Regional Medical Center.  A member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Church, Northern Cambria.  Barb enjoyed reading books, the peace of her home, and relaxing in her favorite chair.  She cherished her role as wife and mother and was happiest with her family.  Family and friends will be received from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.  Funeral Liturgy will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2023, at St.  Mary’s Ukrainian Church.  Fr. Andryi Kelt officiating.  Committal, Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Altoona.
