Barbara C. (Glova) Gray

GRAY, BARBARA C., 78, Duncansville, passed away October 17, 2024.  Born December 16, 1945, the daughter of Michael and Serafina “Fannie” (Lizzio) Glova.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Simon Gray, who died in 2015; and brother, Michael Glova.  Survived by children, Matthew (Kelley) Horvath, Patton; Michael (Denise) Horvath, Carrolltown; Deanna Horvath (fiancé, Adam Orosz), Altoona; Daniel Horvath (Sara Mikitko), Altoona; David Horvath, Ebensburg; and 13 grandchildren.  Also survived by sisters, Anne Zelnosky, Hollidaysburg; Marguerite (Jim) Hite, Ebensburg; and her twin, Rosemary Zenone, St. Benedict.  Barbara was a former Restaurant and Bar owner for many years.  She later worked as a Cake Decorator at Sam’s Club.  She was an active member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Newry where she enjoyed being a volunteer for many church events.  Barbara was a faithful supporter of CCHL (Citizens Concerned for Human Life). As an avid card player, she looked forward to being with friends at the cinch club.  She was also a proud member of Armed Forces Mothers.  Her happiest times were spent with her children and grandchildren.  She will be deeply missed.  Family and friends will be received from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 21, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 22, at St. Patrick Church, Newry.  Fr. Allen P. Zeth officiating.  Committal, St. Patrick Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Patrick Church or Citizens Concerned for Human Life.
