Barbara A. (Blick) McCracken

MCCRACKEN, BARBARA A., 66, Greer, South Carolina, formerly of St. Benedict, PA, passed away surrounded by her loving family at St. Benedict Manor, St. Benedict.  Born August 11, 1959, in Colver, the daughter of Donald and Barbara Ann (Rayba) Blick.  Preceded in death by parents, brother, David Blick, and sister-in-law, Diane (Jones) Blick.  Survived by loving husband of 44 years, Randall L. McCracken; and son, Cameron and his wife, Lauren McCracken, South Carolina.  Also survived by siblings, Patty Fish, Rhode Island; Beverly Meekins, York, PA; Sandra Raniella, St. Benedict; Linda Blick-Dixon, Indiana, PA; Darlene Pedersen, Maryland; Yolanda Mertens, Virginia; Donna Rieger, Northern Cambria; Donald J. Blick, St. Benedict; and Kimberly Livingston, Loretto, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Barbara was a Certified Dental Assistant and worked at several dental offices throughout her career.  She was very active in youth sports and deeply involved at Saint Andrew’s Episcopal in Greenville, SC, where she helped with the Children’s Nursery and Bible study, alongside her husband.  She was also a longtime member of the YMCA and enjoyed staying active through running 5Ks, 10Ks, and half marathons.  Extremely athletic, Barbara took great pride in maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle.  Family and friends will be received from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.  Reverend Marty Cartmell, officiating.  Interment, East Ridge Cemetery.
