Barry "Festus" L. Long Sr.

LONG BARRY L. SR. “Festus”, 77, Hangtown, passed away March 12, 2024, at Embassy of Hillsdale Park.  Born January 29, 1947, in Barr Twp., the son of Calvin and Martha (Keith) Long.  Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Andrew and Mark Long; and sisters, Ramona and Sue.   Survived by children, Jill Long, Indiana; Thomas (Patricia) Long, Clymer; Susanna (Richard) Pennington, Clymer; and Barry (Victoria) Long Jr., Purchase Line; 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  Brother of Alice Keith, Mary Jane LeGars, Elizabeth Keith, June Smith, Delores Lamer, Anita Long, Keith Long, Phillip Long, Walter Long, Evelyn Ryan, Victoria Long and Curtis Long.  Barry worked as a coal miner and farmer.  Formerly volunteered for Cherry Hill Twp. Fire Police.  No viewing or services at his request.  Moriconi Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
