Bernice A. Yeager

Yeager, Bernice A., 72, Hastings, passed away July 26, 2021, at UPMC Altoona Hospital.  Born April 26, 1949, In Patton, the daughter of Mahlon and Rita (Wirtner) Yahner.  Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Kenny and Joseph Yahner and two infant brothers.  Survived by loving husband of 53 years, Terrance Yeager; daughters, Kelley (fiancé Brandon) and Dana (fiancé Wil); granddaughters, Jessica, Haley (husband Michael) and Jenna (fiancé Michael); and great-grandchildren, Tanner, Ryland, Raegan, Harrison, and Aubriella.  Sister of Janet Brungo, Marsha Troy,P and Betsy Krouse.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Bernice was a remarkable woman who cared for and loved everyone.  She has touched many lives with her dedicated years of volunteer work with Christmas Joys, Girls Club, St. Vincent de Paul, Hastings Ambulance Association, and coaching her daughter’s softball teams.  She spent more than 35 years working in social services at Haida Manor.  She loved spending time with her family and traveling.  Words cannot describe how deeply she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.  Family and friends will be received from 1 – 3 pm Sunday, August 1, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.  A service will be held at 3 pm with Fr. Thaddeus Rettger, OSB officiating.
