Betty J. (Maines) Cook

COOK, BETTY J., 96, Hastings, passed away August 18, 2020.  Born March 14, 1924, in Clearfield, the daughter of Alfred and Sarah (Walk) Maines.  Preceded in death by parents; loving husband, Cecil S. Cook, who died December 8, 2005; brother, Kenneth Maines; sisters, Mary Meray and Zella Hillard; and son-in-law, Kenneth Kline.  Survived by daughters, Wanda Kline, Hastings; and Robin (Shawn) McDowell, Nanty Glo; grandchildren, Joshua Kline, Nathan (Sara) Kline, Neil (Betsy) Kline and Heather (Roger) Hazie; and three great-grandchildren   Formerly employed in the housekeeping department of Miners Hospital for more than 20 years.  Member of Hope Springs Church, former North End Assembly of God.  Friends will be received Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at noon.  Rev. Fred Catchpole officiating.  Interment, East Ridge Cemetery.
