Betty Lee (Danvir) Hiltabidel

HILTABIDEL, BETTY LEE, 81, Las Vegas, NV, formerly of Johnstown, passed away July 10, 2024, in Las Vegas.  Born October 4, 1942, in Johnstown, the daughter of Herbert and Rosella (Johnson) Danvir.  Preceded in death by parents; infant brother, Kenneth Danvir; sister, Connie Nelson; first husband, Charles Minemyer Sr.; and second husband, Chester Hiltabidel Jr.  Survived by children, Charles B. Minemyer Jr., husband of Anna Marie (Link); Beth A. (Minemyer) Sweet, wife of Christopher Sweet; Robert A. Minemyer; Bradley G. Minemyer, husband of Michelle (Etienne); Randy S. Hiltabidel, fiancé of Brandi Kush; her stepchildren, David W. Hiltabidel, husband of Glori (Ichord); Evelyn Hiltabidel Merle; and Duane K. Hiltabidel, husband of Tracy (Thomas), all of whom became a loving part of the family.  Also survived by her sister, Donna (Danvir) Mann;  23 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  In her younger years, Betty was employed by Brownies, The Harmony Club, and Santos & Joes.  Later in life she was employed by Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital’s housekeeping department for 18 years.  She loved her large family and spending time with them at the family camp.  She also had many close friends and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Family and friends will be received from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 25, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where a service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday with Fr. Thaddeus Rettger, OSB.  Interment, Richland Cemetery.
