WALKER, BETTY L., 93, Marion Center, peacefully passed away April 29, 2026, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born October 10, 1932, in Westover, the daughter of Norman and Hulda (Deyarmin) King. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Walker; siblings, Evanah “Rosie” Hickok; Dorothy “Dot” Davis; George “Blackie” King; Ernest “Buzz” King; Alice Kelly; Albert “Dean” King; daughter-in-law, Melissa Myers; son-in-law, Hugh Brickell; grandsons Zachary Myers and Donald Bennett. Survived by children, Patricia (Tom) Hamacek, Indiana; Joseph Myers, Commodore; Deborah Brickell, Commodore; Johnnie (Tara) Walker Jr., Hillsdale; stepdaughter, Peggy Ann (John) Thomas, Indiana; grandchildren, Melissa (Peter)Fedoruk; Jason (Brenda) Hamacek; Austin Walker; and Sofia Walker; great grandchildren, Deegan; Jessie; and Jenny; great-great grandchild, Beckett. Also survived by sister, Erma Riva, Northern Cambria. Formerly employed as a seamstress at the Barnesboro Shirt Factory. Betty enjoyed quilting, bowling, baking, and canning. She also liked doing seek-and-find and word-search books, and she loved to read. Family and friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Rev. Marty Cartmell, officiating. Interment, Thompson Cemetery.
