Beverly V. (Maruna) Mihalow

MIHALOW, BEVERLY V., 88, Patton, passed away September 26, 2025, at Haida Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hastings.  Born March 24, 1937, in Gallitzin, the daughter of Willis and Marcedis (Conway) Maruna.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert A. Mihalow; daughter, Tina Bobby; son-in-law, Dan “Squeak” Bobby; grandson, Christopher Bobby; and brother, Willis Maruna Jr.  Beverly also lost her long-time companion, Myjo, her dog of more than 15 years.   Survived by daughter, Cooleen (Thomas) Smith, Patton; grandchildren, Danielle Bobby; and Thomas Smith Jr., and five great-grandchildren.  Also survived by sister, Katherine Eagler, Coalport.  Member of Saints Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Patton.  Beverly loved cooking and gardening.  She enjoyed making meals for her family and took great pride in her flower garden.  Honoring Beverly’s request, there will be no viewing.  Family and friends are invited to celebrate a funeral mass at 12:00 p.m. Noon, Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Saints Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church in Patton.  Father Roman Andriitso, celebrant.  Interment, church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers please consider donations to your local human society.
