Birgitta M. (Aura) Gabor

GABOR, BIRGITTA M., 79, Johnstown, passed away January 16, 2024, at home.  Born February 11, 1944, in Vaasa, Finland, the daughter of Kurt and Hertha Aura.  Preceded in death by parents; brother, Christer Aura; and grandchildren, Joshua Hoffman, Tressa Kovach, and Derek Kovach.  Survived by children, Suzanne (Jeff) Johns,  Deanne (Rodger) Lanzendorfer, Kristie Alexander, Lynette Gabor (Randy), Karie (John) Hoffman, Aundrea Gabor (Chad), Jon Carl Gabor (Amber), Jonette Gabor (Donny); and grandchildren, Shannon (Jeremy), Jake, Rayce, Alex, Kolt, Kiara, Christian, J.T., Justin, Haleigh (Chad), Colin (Jessica), Tanner, Kalehu, Kody, Teonna, Brianna; and great-grandchildren, Kristina, Brooklyn, Kallie, Wyatt, Harper, Hudson and Mylah.  Sister of Stefan Aura and Kristina Swahn and families.  Birgitta enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, and knitting, gardening, camping, puzzles, and just going for rides.  She was proud to be a mother of eight children and loved all things family.  Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren brought her tremendous happiness.  She will be deeply missed.  Family and friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 27, 2024, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Mundys Corner.   Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc.
