Blair Govel Obituary

GOVEL, BLAIR J.,92, Northern Cambria, passed away December 28, 2020, at Miners Hospital, Hastings. Born February 3, 1928, in Allport, the son of Andrew and Stafana (Przybylski) Govel. Preceded in death by parents and brother Edward Govel. Survived by loving wife of 63 years, June (Neilson) Govel; daughter, Karen, wife of Victor Williams, Northern Cambria; and granddaughter, Casey Williams, wife of Alex Price, Johnstown. Also survived by sister, Wanda Kleba, Indiana. US Army Veteran of the Korean War and member of Barnesboro VFW Post 343 and American Legion Post 508. Retired Night Watchman from the Barnesboro Shirt Factory. Previously worked for the State Dept. of Motor Vehicles in Harrisburg. Member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. All services will be held privately for the Govel family. Interment, St. John’s Roman Catholic Cemetery. Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements.
