Bonnie L. (Gray) Bardelang

BARDELANG, BONNIE L., 78, Northern Cambria, passed away September 23, 2024, surrounded by her family.   Born July 7, 1946, in Spangler, the daughter of Carl E. and Thelma (Barnes) Gray.  Preceded in death by parents and brother, Thomas Gray.  Survived by children, Jamie (Bernard) Dumm, Strongstown; Jim (Kathy) Baum, Pittsburgh;  Dede (Timothy) Nelson, Gore, VA; Kelly (Tim) LeGars, Northern Cambria; grandchildren,  Amanda, Eric, Matt, Katelyn, James, Maralee, Ashleigh, Shane, Zachary, Easton, Caleb, Joel,  Allison; and great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Logan, Carson, Alissa, Isabella, Reed, Everly, Braxton, Gunner, Jameson, Eva, Shayna, Ian, Rowen and Liam.  Sister of Carl “Punk” Gray and Paula Jo Kline, both of Northern Cambria.  After graduating from Cambria Rowe Business School, Bonnie began working for Indiana County Guidance Center, later known as Community Guidance Center, where she worked as an Executive Secretary.  She loved her job which was dedicated to the improvement of families in the community.   A member of Garman Church of God, she was strong in her faith and enjoyed being an active part of the church family.  There she played the piano and sang in the choir.  She served as treasurer for the church and for the Sonshine Sisters.  In the local community she was a long-time Girl Scout Leader and had a soft heart for animals, taking in many strays.   She was currently serving as the Vice President of the Nicktown Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and was past president of both the Cambria County & Vicinity Fire Ladies Auxiliary and Central District Fire Ladies.  Although Bonnie was active and busy, she made her family her priority.  She was a loving mother and an adoring grandmother and great-grandmother.  She will be missed by all.  Family and friends will be received from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday at Moriconi Funeral Home, inc. Northern Cambria.  Funeral Service will be held at  10:00 a.m. Saturday, at Garman Church of God.  Pastor Rick Gamble officiating.
