Carol Ann (Deoskey) Olenchick

OLENCHICK, CAROL ANN, 82, Southport, NC, and New Alexandria, PA, native of Spangler, PA, passed away August 21, 2025, in North Carolina.  Born April 9, 1943, in Spangler, the daughter of Joseph and Emily (Yonkoskey) Deoskey.  Preceded in death by parents; daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Mike Grant; and brothers, Joe and Robert Deoskey.  Survived by daughters, Annette Olenchick (Vicki); and Jannette Olenchick, both of North Carolina; grandchildren, Michael, Melissa, and Matthew Grant; and great-granddaughter, Aubrey Grant   Sister of Delores (Steve) Magulick, Northern Cambria.  Carol worked many years as a waitress at Dick’s Diner in Murrysville, PA, where she had many friends and was the owner/operator of Carpet Medic cleaning service.   She was a devoted mother to her daughters and treasured being part of the lives of her grandchildren.  She will be deeply missed.  Family and friends are invited to a funeral mass which will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Hastings, PA.  Fr. Thaddeus Rettger, OSB, celebrant.  Committal, church cemetery.
