BAKER, CATHERINE A., 90, Northern Cambria, passed away October 13, 2024. Born January 1, 1934, in Carrolltown, the daughter of Cletus and Helen E. (Carlheim) Gray. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Kathleen Wahl; and husband, David Baker. Survived by son, Thomas Lang Jr., CA; grandchildren, Tyler, Kody, Kyle, and Michael; sister, Joyce Bacho, TX; brother, Gerard Gray, OH; and several nieces and nephews. In Catherine’s younger years she played Snow White in Disney. She worked many years as a paralegal in the Washington, DC area, then went onto to be a secretary for Tracor, Inc., for at least ten years and as a Historian and Geneologist for the State of Washington. She had a deep love for history and ancestry research. She was an active member of D.A.R (Daughters of the American Revolution) for more than 40 years and in her later years she became active in a Facebook group called “If you grew up in Cambria County”, where her knowledge will be greatly missed. Above all she was a homemaker who loved caring for her family. At her request there will be no services. Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc. Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements.
