SPONSKY, CHARLOTTE, 80, Elmora, passed away January 18, 2021 at UPMC Altoona Hospital. Born October 18, 1940, in Carrolltown, the daughter of the late Earl and Catherine (Vermeulin) Snyder. Preceded in death by parents; husband, William F. Sponsky, who died April 27, 2005; stepson, Douglas Sponsky; and sister, Cindy Straw. Survived by children, Tammy Anderson (fiancé, John Zenecki), Elmora; Dave Sponsky (Tracey Stiffler), Bakerton; and William J. (Mary) Sponsky, Bakerton; grandchildren, Erica (Bernie) Stein, Alyssa (Robbie) Patterson, David, Joshua and Brayden Sponsky; great-grandchildren, Jurnie Stein, Levi Anderson, Lyndy Stein, Kynzlee Stein, Carolyn Patterson. Also survived by her brothers, Ed “Bud” Snyder, Allport; William “Bill” Synder, Coalport; sisters, Eileen (James) Fox, Patton; and Mary Kay (Tom) Gallagher, Carrolltown. Together with her husband they owned and operated Sponsky’s Tropical Fish/Reel Repair and Supplies Store. Charlotte enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to play Bingo, watch wrestling and crocheting. Charlotte also enjoyed going on car rides with her sister Eileen who was her best friend. Together they shared many fun times doing things only sisters understood. Honoring Charlotte’s wishes there will be no viewing or services. Interment, Sacred Heart Cemetery, Elmora.
