Christa L. Dunchuck

DUNCHUCK, CHRISTA L., 48, Northern Cambria, passed away August 22, 2021.  Born October 26, 1972, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Emil and Shirley (Shilling) Traveny.  Preceded in death by father; brother, Darin Traveny; and in-laws, William and Patricia Dunchuck.  Survived by mother, Shirley, of South Carolina; loving husband of 26 years, Mark Dunchuck; daughters, Haley Dunchuck, Johnstown and Allison Dunchuck (Chris Legrand), Northern Cambria; brother, Emil (Jodi) Traveny, South Carolina; sister, Meredith (Bill) Zeller, West Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews.   Christa will also be sadly missed by her faithful dogs, Vinnie and Venus.  She was employed for many years as a Residential Support Aid and more recently was involved in staff training for Quality Life Services.  She was a dedicated employee and enjoyed working with the residents.  She found her greatest joy as a devoted wife and loving and mother to her daughters.  All services will be held privately for the Dunchuck family, Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements.
