Clare Ann Bearer

BEARER, CLARE ANN, 84, passed away November 21, 2021, at Hudson Helping Hands Home Care, Ebensburg.  Born January 15, 1937, in Hastings, the daughter of Harvey A. and Mary R. (Bearer) Bearer.  Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Mildred Pavia, Mary Jane Bearer, Dorothy L. Anna; brothers, David and Kenneth Bearer; and brothers-in-law, Daniel Loudenslager and Michael Pavis.  Survived by long-time business partner and companion Ron Nolan, Cromwell, CT; siblings, Alfred (Loretta) Bearer, Painesville, OH; Charles (Carole) Bearer, Flushing, MI; Ronald (Helen) Bearer, Northern Cambria; Rose (Patrick) Grimme, Altoona; Margaret Loudenslager, Altoona; James (Karen) Bearer, Hastings; Donna (Dave) Burns, Hollidaysburg; brother-in-law, Dennis Anna, Altoona; and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Bearer, Carrolltown; Rae Bearer, Hastings; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Upon graduation from Spangler High School, she relocated to Cleveland and was employed by Travelers Insurance Company.  When she was promoted to Vice President with Travelers she was transferred to Hartford, CT where she retired after more than 30 years of service with the company.  Upon retirement she served as the social editor at the Cromwell Chronicle, a local Connecticut weekly newspaper and the Connecticut Business Magazine that she and Ron Nolan Published.  Honoring her wishes, there will be no public viewing or visitation.
