Connie L. Ashurst

ASHURST, CONNIE L., 65, Cherry Tree, passed away December 4, 2024, at home. Born March 9, 1959, in Spangler, the daughter of Vincent and Alverda (McIlwain) Ashurst.  Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Hiram, Vincent, and Robert Ashurst; and sisters, Doris Funk and Anita Adams.  Survived by siblings, Donna (Ed) Gaston, North Carolina; James (Jean) Ashurst, Euclid, OH; Joan (Vince) Warner, Northern Cambria; Nora (Don) Yasick, Dubois; Betty (Joe) Weakland, Lakeland, FL; Beverly (Nick) Chordas, Northern Cambria; Steven Ashurst, Northern Cambria; and Debbie (Chris) Palmes, Lakeland, FL.  Also survived by Goddaughter, Rebecca A.  Neil, Shelocta and numerous nieces and nephews.  Connie was employed as a Lab Technician for Specialty Tires.  Through the years Connie enjoyed traveling and taking pictures during the fall, her favorite season.  There will be no public viewing.  Family and friends are invited to a memorial service beginning at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 11, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc. where a service will be conducted at 5:00 p.m.  Pastor Stan Webb officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Concordia VNA Hospice.
