HOMERSKI, CONSTANCE “Connie”, 92, Hastings, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 18, 2025. Born January 26, 1933, in Barnesboro, the last surviving member of the Elmer and Alice (Draisy) Freeman family. In addition to her parents and siblings, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, John Homerski in 1998; and sons John Jr. and Tim Homerski. She is survived by sons, Bob (Pam), Pittsburgh; Jim (Bobbi Jean), Cherry Tree; and Joe (Brenda) Knoxville, TN; daughters-in-law, Theresa and Chris; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Connie was a loving wife to John and a devoted mother to her five sons. She was an intelligent, well versed, and witty woman who loved her family and God more than anything. She was a life-long, committed servant of God and the church. She served as a licensed minister with the Assembly of God churches since the mid 1970’s and served in many capacities including interim pastor on multiple occasions, evangelist, preacher, teacher, and mentor to numerous people. Her deep love for family, uplifting, humorous and caring personality will be missed and remembered most of all. Connie’s lifetime legacy will be her love of family and the number of lives she impacted by sharing her love for Christ. Family and friends will be received from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Pastor Kelly Selick officiating. Interment, North Barnesboro Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff of Saint Benedict Manor and 365 Hospice for the excellent care and support they provided.
