Curtis A. Hester

HESTER, CURTIS ALAN, 71, Hastings, passed away July 12, 2023.  Born October 7, 1951, in Columbia, SC, the son of the late Howard and Doris (Whipple) Hester.  Survived by loving wife of 46 years, Ruth (Baker) Hester; son, Christopher, Hastings; daughter, Kimberly, fiancé of Mark Ford, Portage; grandchildren, Alexander, Samuel, Emily and William Hester.  Brother of Cheryl Hester, York; and Paul Hester, Santa Fe, NM.  Also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law, Linda and Pat Lechene, Hastings and Paul and Gerry Baker, State College; and the nieces and nephews that completed the family circle.  Employed as the manager of 219 Barbell.  Formerly employed by K-Mark Corporation.  Curtis, a Licensed Minister, had a deep faith in the Lord, loved to pray and share his belief with others.  Music was a large part of his life, and he was a collector of vinyl albums.  He also spent his free time as a Ham Radio enthusiast.  Honoring his wishes there will be no viewing or services.  Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc.
