Cynthia Miller Obituary

MILLER, CYNTHIA J., 58, of Marion Center, passed away peacefully at home on October 18, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 16, 1965, Cindy was daughter of Joseph “Sonny” Shevock and Delores (Bennett) Shevock.  She was preceded in death by her beloved parents and husband, William H. Miller III, who passed in 2017. Cindy is survived by her children: Dr. William H. Miller IV, of Arlington, VA; Cody L. Miller and wife Dr. Marissa (Badzik) Miller, of New Alexandria; and Kayla R. Cramer and husband Michael J., of Penn Run. Cindy was the proud grandmother of four beloved grandchildren, Natalie, Maverick, Adalynn and Elise, who brought her endless joy.  She is also survived by her siblings: Brian Peles, of North Carolina; Paulette Sewalish, of Alverda; and Kim Peles, of Northern Cambria.  Cindy was a proud small business owner and entrepreneur who dedicated 32 years to a successful career as a Braille transcriber as owner of CM Transcribing.  Her work provided essential educational materials to visually impaired students and reflected her deep passion for reading, education, and desire to make a positive impact.  Cindy was also a founding member of the band Country Blue, where she shared her love of music, often seen strumming her guitar at Indiana Farmers Markets and spreading joy to many.  Her generous spirit was evident through her volunteer work at the Clymer Senior Center.  Above all, Cindy will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  In accordance with Cindy’s wishes, no public viewing will be held.  A memorial service to honor her life will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church in Deckers Point.  Her kindness, strength, and passion for music will be deeply missed but never forgotten.  Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements.
