DECKARD, DANIEL J., 43, Hanover, PA, formerly of Carrolltown, passed away suddenly on October 8, 2025. Born February 13, 1982, in Spangler, the son of Terry (Jacqueline) Deckard, Hastings and the late Lisa Selestak. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his sister, Tara Deckard, maternal grandparents, paternal grandfather, and uncle, Art Deckard. In addition to his father, he is survived by paternal grandmother, Gwen Eagler; siblings, Amanda (Tim) Mock, Cresson; Melanie (Dave) Ciezobka, Northern Cambria; Lexie Deckard, Johnstown; Lauren Deckard, Hastings; numerous nieces, cousins, special nephew, Tony Hurst, aunt, Theresa Deckard; and his beloved cats, Henry, Jezebel, Milo and Tux. Dan is also survived by his close friends from the Hanover tattooing community, Lisa Faircloth, Charles & Stacey Freeland, Charles Murphy, Laceyrea Barrett and Jeremy “Jay Rock” Wibel, who were also family to him. A graduate of Cambria Heights High School, Dan was a self-employed tattoo artist at Baltimore Street Tattoo Inc. in Hanover. He enjoyed music and lived by the mantra PMA (positive mental attitude). His creative spirit and talent touched the lives of many and he will continue to live on through the permanent ink and art he attached to his many faithful followers over the years.
