Darren E. Mitchell Sr.

MITCHELL, DARREN E. SR., 50, Emeigh, passed away January 18, 2024, at home.  Born April 10, 1973, in Indiana, son of Robert Sr. and Donna (Mitchell) DePetro.  Preceded in death by parents; and brother, George DePetro.   Survived by loving wife of 30 years, Marsha (Mason) Mitchell; sons, Jesse Keith, fiancé of Jessica Bougher, Northern Cambria; Shawn (Brittany) Mason, Darren Mitchell Jr., Brooke Mitchell, and Desiree Kelly all of Emeigh.  Also 15 grandchildren.  Brother of Dawn Mitchell (Carrie) White, VA; Veronica DePetro, Northern Cambria; Robert DePetro Jr., Watkins; and Dena DePetro, Hillsdale.  Formerly employed as a Truck Driver for M & K Trucking.  Member of Sons of the American Legion, Legion Riders and Social Member of Barnesboro American Legion.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, driving his truck and especially his grandchildren.  Family and friends will be received from 3:00 pm until time of service at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc. Northern Cambria. Pastor Chris Massey officiating.   In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
