David M. Contorchick

CONTORCHICK, DAVID M., 57, Elmora, passed away August 28, 2023, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital.  Born August 9, 1966, in Spangler, the son of John and Joan (Kirsch) Contorchick.  Preceded in death by father and two infant brothers.  Survived by mother, of Elmora; wife, Chris (Goss) Contorchick; sons, David M. Contorchick Jr., Elmora, and Tim (Deana) Neal, Clymer; grandchildren, David, Lydia, Avery, Jase, and Wes.  Brother of Leo (Jean Ann) Contorchick, John Contorchick, Donald “Bugger” (Patty) Contorchick, all of Elmora, Wanda Cantelope (Rod), Northern Cambria; and Cheryl (Barry) Barrett, Carrolltown; and several nieces and nephews.  Dave was a self-employed contractor of 30 years.  Dave was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing, and spending time at “Frend Corp Camp” at Raystown Lake.  Member of Bakerton Rod & Gun Club, Rembrandt Club, Carrolltown Rod & Gun Club, Carrolltown Firemen’s Club, Saxton Sportsman Club, Social Member of Carrolltown American Legion and St. Benedict VFW. Family was most important to him, and time spent with them was always a priority.    Honoring Dave’s request there will be no public viewing.  A celebration of life will be held at his residence on Saturday, September 2, 2023. Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements.
