Delories D. (Maines) Baker

BAKER, DELORIES D. 90, Chapel Hill, NC, formerly of Cleveland, OH, native of Hastings, PA, died January 27, 2024, at UNC Hospice Home, Pittsboro, NC.  Born November 3, 1933, in Hastings, the last surviving member of the Ellis Israel and Violet Vada (Parks) Maines family.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by loving husband of 57 years, Ronald Jay Baker, who died June 13, 2017; sisters, Dawella Parzatka and Dorothy Baker; and brothers, Chester, Norman and Marvelon Maines.  Survived by daughter, Kimberly Baker Michalko, wife of Michael Mark Michalko, Chapel Hill, NC, and grandsons, Matthew and Ryan Michalko.  Delories volunteered in the Cleveland Public Schools, with the Girl Scouts, and later worked as a Floral Designer.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished time with her family.  A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2024, in East Ridge Cemetery.  Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements.
