Dirk E. Pardee Jr.

PARDEE, DIRK EUGENE, JR., 42, Northern Cambria, passed away unexpectedly on June 1, 2025, at Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights.  Born October 28, 1982, in Altoona, the son of Dirk and Phyllis (Price) Pardee Sr. of Northern Cambria.  Survived by parents; son, Dirk Eugene Pardee III, Northern Cambria; aunt, Carol McKee, Breckenridge TX; uncle, Sherman Edward Pardee, Live Oak, TX; brother, Brett (Candice) Gilliland, Shirleysburg, PA; sister, Tara Pardee (Dennis Goodlin), Northern Cambria,  honorary brother, Ken Duman, Hastings, PA; nephew, Nicholas Gilliland; nieces, Emma Kollar, Ady Goodlin, and Reese Goodlin; as well as numerous cousins and many life-long, close friends.  Dirk was a hardworking laborer and carpenter, a member of the Carpenter’s Union Local 2274, having begun his career shortly after graduating high school in 2001.  An avid outdoorsman, Dirk enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He loved spending time at his friend Andy’s house, especially playing the drums.  A passionate fan of baseball and football, Dirk devoted himself to coaching his son’s sports teams.  Known for his gruff voice bellowing throughout the crowd, yet his huge, gentle arms wrapped around young players, instructing them on the next play.  He was especially proud of his son’s accomplishments.  Honoring Dirk’s wishes, there will be no public viewing or visitation.  A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.  Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc, Northern Cambria in charge of all arrangements.
