Donald R. Kline

KLINE, DONALD R., 78, Marstellar, passed away September 23, 2020.  Born April 1, 1942, in Spangler, the son of Rupert H. and Luella C. (Miller) Kline.  Preceded in death by parents; siblings, Rita Singer, Elizabeth Karlheim, Mary Lou Kirk and Marlene Conrad. Survived by daughter, Hilary Kline, Massachusetts; three siblings, Mildred Krug, Munster; Evelyn Yahner, Ohio; and William Joseph Kline, Pittsburgh; and numerous nieces and nephews.  A graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Donald was a retired teacher from the Northern Cambria School District and had the position of President of the Northern Cambria Education Association for several years.  He was a member of the Northern Cambria Civil Defense Club, formerly serving as treasurer.  Donald enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and gardening.  He also enjoyed breakfast in town with his buddies.  An active member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Nicktown, he was a lector and member of the male choir.  During weekday masses, Don was a lector at Prince of Peace Church, Northern Cambria.  Due to Covid restrictions, private funeral mass will be held for the Kline family.  Committal, St. Nicholas Cemetery.  Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Don to St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Nicktown.
