Donna L. (Wenturine) Lessard

Donna Lessard of Ebensburg, Pennsylvania passed away on August 10, 2025 at the Villages of Maple Heights, Ebensburg, Pennsylvania. Donna was born in Spangler, PA on April 1, 1939. She was pre-deceased by husband, Raymond Joseph Lessard, parents, Martin Wenturine and Stella Wenturine (Adams), granddaughter Tina Bogel (Lessard), grandson Joseph Lessard, and great-grandson Bennett Lessard.  Donna is survived by son Raymond Martin Lessard, daughter-in-law Linda Lessard (Johnson), son Ronald Lessard, daughter-in-law Ruth Lessard (Ryan) and son Rodney Lessard and daughter-in-law Melissa Lessard (Armstrong). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.  Donna attended Holy Cross Catholic School then Spangler High School, where she was very proud to have been a majorette.  When she was 15 years old Donna moved with her parents, Stella and Martin Wenturine, to Royal Oak, Michigan.  Donna met Ray Lessard at Big Bear grocery store and they married in 1956. She worked as a cashier in various grocery and drug stores, rising to the level of head cashier. She also worked with young children for many years in daycare.  Donna and Ray loved to travel to Niagara Falls and to PA in order to spend time with family.  After Ray retired, they relocated to Carrolltown, PA along with her mother. Donna moved to Ebensburg after the passing of both her mother and husband.  Donna was a member of St. Benedict Church in Carrolltown.
