LIEB, DOROTHY LOUISE, 98, Nicktown, passed away peacefully October 20, 2025, at St. Andrew’s Village, Indiana. Born August 7, 1927, in White Township, the last surviving member of the George and Helena (Gaunter) Long family. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Henry Lieb; infants siblings Marie and John; and these brothers and sisters, Gertrude, Sister Flora “Rita”, Joseph, Edith, Earl, Edna, and Helen. Survived by loving children, Raymond (Karen) Lieb, Indiana; Stephen (Joleen) Lieb, Indiana; Anita Lieb, Pittsburgh; and Maria (Peter) Kleponis, Phoenixville; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Dorothy graduated from Patton High School and went on to attend the Pittsburgh School of Nursing, where she became a Registered Nurse. She dedicated her career to caring for others at the VA Hospitals in both Pittsburgh and Altoona. She was a lifelong member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Nicktown, where she was active in the Altar Rosary Society and the Legion of Mary. Dorothy also enjoyed singing in the church choir and with local groups. Family and friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 27, 2025, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Nicktown. Father Jeremiah Lange, OSB, PhD officiating. Interment, St. Nicholas Cemetery.
