Dorothy H. Trybus

Dorothy H. Trybus, 78, Enid, Oklahoma, native of Carrolltown, passed away July 10, 2022.  Born December 13, 1943, in Carrolltown, the daughter of James and Violetta (Leslie) Baker.  Preceded in death by parents; loving husband, Walter "Jerry" Trybus Jr.; daughter, Renee Murley; sisters, Patricia Shaffer and Jean Conrad; and brothers, David, Leo and Howard Baker.  Survived by daughters, Sharon (Russ) Manning, Alison (Steve) Henry; son, Steven Trybus; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Sister of Margaret Croyle, Fallentimber, and Barbara Glessner, Harrisburg.  Dorothy married "Jerry" at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown, on June 2, 1962.  She was a homemaker and had a childcare and daycare service for many years.  She loved to cook and garden.  Throughout her husband's career in the military, the family lived many places throughout the world.  In 2007 Dorothy and Jerry moved to Enid, OK, to be closer to their children.  There she was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church.  Family and friends are welcome at a Memorial Mass which will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on October 13, 2022, at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown.  Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.
