Dorothy (Lee) Weaver

WEAVER, DOROTHY, 88, Summerhill, passed away July 28, 2020, at home.  Born August 30, 1931, in Hastings, the daughter of Herbert and Elizabeth Mae (Canis) Lee.  Preceded in death by parents, first husband, William Jewett; siblings, Doris Evelyn Fowler, Robena Mae Stewart, Carrie Jean Hicks, Bert Lee, Harold Lee and Elizabeth June Wenzel.   Survived by loving husband, Rev. John Weaver; children, Dorothy Lynn “Dottie” (Dan) Snyder, Gary Jewett and daughter-in-law, Cynthia Jewett; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  Graduate of Hastings Elder High School and formerly employed by the Ebensburg Center.   Life member of the Hastings United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.  Member of South Fork Lions Club.  Friends will be received from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria and from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 a.m., Friday at Hastings United Methodist Church, Reverend Jack Emerick, officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery, Hastings.
