HANNIGAN-STANICK, EDITH T., 61, Hastings, passed away January 25, 2025, at Miners Medical Center. Born July 29, 1963, in Spangler, the daughter of John and Edith (LaBelle) Hannigan. Preceded in death by parents; and husband, Jody Lynn Stanick, who died March 12, 2022. Survived by daughters, Angela Nagle, Johnstown; and Melissa Nave, fiancé of Brian Thurman, Northern Cambria; stepson, Matthew Stanick, Northern Cambria; grandchildren, Courtney Nave, Michael Nagle, Gwen Nave, Bryce Thurman, Jeremy Nagle, Destiny Hannigan, Alex Nave, Delilah Nave; and great-granddaughters, Amelia Bender and TaleIghia Nagle. Sister of Chuck (Cathy) Hannigan; Dennis (DeDe) Hannigan, both of Palestine, TX; Jane (Butch) Bearer, St. Benedict; and Connie (Tim) Bocci, Bakerton. Also survived by several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Edith formerly worked as a highway flagger and was the owner of an “Odd’s and End’s” retail shop. “Edie” enjoyed helping others by offering rides to appointments and help with errands. In her free time, she enjoyed crafting, quilting, bingo, and trips to the casino. She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren and made it a priority for her own siblings to keep in touch with each other. She also enjoyed the quiet times she spent at Treasure Lake. Family and friends will be received on at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria on Sunday, February 2, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 4:00 p.m. Rev. Donald Carpenter officiating.
