Edward J. Bobik

BOBIK, EDWARD J., 84, White Plains, MD, passed away November 28, 2020, at his home.  Born May 18, 1936, in Cambria County, the son of Stephen and Julianna (Lukasko) Bobik.  Preceded in death by sisters, Elizabeth Bobik, Virginia Bobik, Agnes Mensinger and Martha Basista; and brothers, George, Andrew, William and Alfred “Sonny” Bobik.  Survived by loving wife of 62 years, Betty Ann (Hartman) Bobik; daughter, Cynthia Bobik and husband, Charles Klemstine; son, Kenneth Bobik and wife, Sherri, both of Waldorf, MD; grandchildren, Crystal (Tim) O’Barr; Victoria Cooksey (Mark Porter), both of LaPlata, MD; Michelle (Craig) Maines, Charlotte Hall, MD; and Jonathan Bobik, Dover, DE; and great-grandchildren, Aurora, Landon, Avery, Logan, Luke, and Levi.   Brother of Louise Bobik and Raymond Bobik, both of Northern Cambria and Ronald Bobik, Rockville, MD. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Eleanor and Rita and brother-in-law, Stephen “Bugs” Basista.  Retired from the Public Works Department in the city of Washington, DC.  Ed enjoyed time spent with his family and was an avid golfer.  Private services will be held for the Bobik family with Interment in St. John’s Byzantine Cemetery, Northern Cambria.   Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements.
