GORMISH, EDWARD V., 84, Northern Cambria, passed away August 5, 2022.  Born March 4, 1938, in Bakerton, the son of Michael and Mary (Hresko) Gormish.  Preceded in death by parents; wife, Elizabeth Ann (Hannigan) Gormish;  infant son, Terry Michael; brothers,  Michael, Paul, John, Andrew, George; sisters, Elizabeth Molnar, Pauline Patrick and Margaret Holtz; and step-grandson, Jarvis Cicero.  Survived by son, Vincent (Carolyn) Gormish, Carrolltown; step grandchildren, Kim (Scott) Cicero-Henry, Candice Cicero (Scott), and Justin (Amy) Cicero, also 5 step great-grandchildren.  Brother of Joseph Gormish, Cleveland, OH; and Rose (Dick) Venesky, Anderson, IN.  US Air Force Veteran and member of Spangler American Legion Post 569 and VFW Post 7503.  Retired Coal Miner.  Member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.  Family and friends will be received from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2022, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 13, at Prince of Peace Church, 811 Chestnut Avenue, Northern Cambria.  Fr. Mark Groeger officiating. Committal, Holy Cross Cemetery.  Military honors by local veterans organizations.
