HAZLETT, EDWARD JAMES, 80, Cherry Tree, passed away February 8, 2026, at home. Born October 22, 1945, in Cresson, the son of Blair Ira and Margaret (Hammond) Hazlett. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Frank Hazlett and sister, Patricia King. Survived by loving wife of 42 years, Andrea (Kenner) Hazlett; and these children and their families: David (Michelle) Hazlett – Letitia, Kerri, Allen (Emily), and Devon; Donald (Beth) Hauser – Tarra, Tori, Traci and Trevor; Dana (Jason) Fedor—Christopher (Alesha), Casey (Vanessa), Joshua, and Scott “Mikey”; Christian Hauser – Tyler; Mary Ann (Scott) Brumbaugh – Dorothy and Cassandra; Shannon Wolfe – Brook (Dustin) Brewer and Brandon; Cindy (Shawn) Foringer – Makayla; Daniel (Marina) Hazlett – Alex, Benjamin, Caleb, and Dean; Robert (Amy) Hazlett – Zachary, Emma, Matthew, and Riley. Also 17 great-grandchildren. Brother of Ray (Kathy) Hazlett. Ed was a proud US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Era from January 1966 through July 1975, having served aboard both the USS Midway and the USS Enterprise as a trained Jet Mechanic. He was a member of Spangler VFW Post 7503. He worked many years being self-employed in the construction industry. His hobbies included working with wood and building his own military R.C. Airplanes. He loved his family and grandkids and adored his dogs, Naru and Sasuke. All services will be private for the Hazlett family. Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc, Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements.
