Edwin J. Witenski

WITENSKI, EDWIN J. “Ski”, 66, Northern Cambria, passed away February 11, 2021, at UPMC Altoona.  Born April 23, 1954, in Spangler, the son of the late, John and Helen (Petrisko) Witenski.  Survived by sons, Erik (Meagan) Witenski, Emeigh and Nathan Witenski, Westover, grandchildren, Ivan, Brynlee, Matthew and Benjamin.  Brother of Robert Witenski, Freeport; John Witenski, Northern Cambria; and Patricia Bell; Rochester, NY.  “Ski” was an owner/operator truck driver and retired from Penn Dot.   He was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed boating.  Life member of Hope Fire Company, Northern Cambria; social member of the Barnesboro American Legion and Spangler VFW.  Family and friends will be received from 2:00 till 7:00 p.m., Monday.  Services will he held (and live streamed) at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, Fr. Mathew Baum, officiating.  Interment, St. Stanislaus Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hope Fire Company, 1023 Philadelphia Avenue, Northern Cambria, PA 15714.  Please adhere to all Covid-19 precautions with masks and social distancing if planning to attend.
