Elnora S. (Drzal) Zemrose

ZEMROSE, ELNORA S., 94, Elmora, passed away July 3, 2020, at Miners Hospital, Hastings.  Born January 28, 1926, in Spangler, the daughter of Joseph and Marcyanna (Skala) Drzal.  Preceded in death by parents; loving husband, Thomas J. Zemrose, who died March 17, 1979; infant daughter, Deborah Ann; her beloved grandson, Tommy; siblings, Frank Drzal, Helen Slezak, John, Chester “Lefty”, Walter “Budge” and William “Pinky” Drzal.  Survived by children, Thomas (Malinda) Zemrose, Elmora; June (Ken) Stossel, Cherry Tree; Rich Zemrose, Elmora; grandchildren, Laura Stossel (Jonathan Wright), Shelly (John) Craig; John (Kelly) Zemrose; and great-grandchildren, Florian Wright and Charlie Eleonora Craig.  Also survived by sister, Ann Kepins, Murrysville.  Elnora worked more than 30 years as the bookkeeper for the Barnes Company Store in Bakerton.  Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church and VFW Ladies Auxiliary of St. Benedict.  She had a strong faith and a beautiful collection of Angels which she gathered through the years.  Above all else, she was devoted to her family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who cherished time spent with them.  Friends will be received from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.  A funeral mass will be held for the Zemrose family.  Committal, St. Benedict Cemetery.
