Ernestine L. (Fletcher) Fredo

FREDO, ERNESTINE L., 95, Hastings, passed away January 23, 2024.  Born February 11, 1928, in Altoona, the daughter of William and Margaret (Link) Fletcher.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Dominic J. Fredo, who died in 1987; sisters, Elizabeth Hnatkovich, Ilene Hnatkovich, Shirley Holowka, Mary Jane Bobal, Patricia Deyarmin, and Gertrude Fletcher; and brother, William Fletcher. Survived by children, Donna (Eugene) Zeglen, Hastings; Shirl (Gerhart) Schanzenbach, Bear, DE; Teresa (Richard) Prout, Frederick, MD; Dominic (Lynn) Fredo; 8 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Also survived by brothers, Thomas Fletcher, Hampton, VA; and James Fletcher, Albequerque, NM.  No viewing or services at the request of the deceased.  Graveside services will be held in the Spring in St. Bernard Cemetery, Hastings.  Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements.
