LUTE, EUGENE H., 73, Northern Cambria, passed away March 1, 2023, at Select Specialty Hospital, Johnstown. Born May 26, 1949, in Barr Twp., the son of George and Mildred (Laney) Lute. Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Kelly Ann; an infant brother; two infant sisters; and his uncle for whom he was named, Eugene Herbert Lute. Survived by loving partner of nearly 24 years, Ruth Ann Nagle, and their beloved dog, Clyde, daughter, Nicole Lute, Georgia. Brother of Hilda Whittimore, Brunswick, OH; Linda Simmons, Starford; Alberta Whitton, Mahaffey; Cheryl Ann Anderson, Fort Dodge, IA; and Robert (Sally) Lute and their daughters, Tala and Shyra; also numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and cousins. US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Family and Friends will be received from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where a military service will be held at 6:30 p.m. by local military honors organization.
