MAZOR, FRANCES MARIE, 95, Lyman, SC, formerly of Barnesboro now Northern Cambria, PA, passed away March 14, 2026, at Ashlan Village in Lyman. Born October 1, 1930, in Barnesboro, the daughter of Andrew and Eleanor (Domalik) Ciezobka. Frances was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Preceded in death by parents; husband, John Charles Mazor; infant daughter, Rose Anne Mazor; siblings, Mary Rogal, Irene Goscinski, Andrew Ciezobka, Helen Fedoryszyn, Eleanor Hnatkowicz, John Ciezobka and Joseph Ciezobka. Survived by children, JoAnn (Glenn) Blake, Lyman; and John F. (Marcy) Mazor, Butler, PA; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Frances began her working years as a pinner/presser at the Patton Shirt Factory and later served in the cafeteria for the Northern Cambria School District, where she enjoyed seeing and serving the students each day. Devoted member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Northern Cambria and St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, Simpsonville, SC. She was also an active participant in Catholic Daughters of America and St. Stanislaus Kostka Altar & Rosary Society, where she formed lasting friendships and took great pride in serving her parish communities. For 16 years of her retirement, she enjoyed traveling to Westminster, SC to help with her daughter’s family-owned bed & breakfast/wedding venue, adding many wonderful people to her long list of loved ones. Her years as the celebrity chef of the B&B’s annual “Polish Night” dinner are a golden memory. Even though her husband lived only three years into their marriage, she remained very close with his four sisters, three brothers and their families throughout their lives. Our family will be forever grateful for the love and support she received throughout her life. Family and friends will be received from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 23, 2026, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Northern Cambria. Father Mark Groeger, officiating. Private Committal, Holy Name Cemetery.
