KLINE, GEORGE V., 93, Nicktown, passed away March 3, 2026, at home. Born December 19, 1932, the last surviving member of the Pius and Mary Barbara (White) Kline family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by siblings, Rhoda Beunier, Edna Sammarco, Richard Kline, Geraldine Chernisky, Mary Kline, Melvin Kline and Merle Kline. Survived by children, Randy (Verna) Kline, Corbin, KY; Rhonda (Glenn) Wolfe, Ebensburg; Robin Baker, Hastings; Rolinda Thornton, Idaho; Rodney (Debra) Kline, Trinity, FL; Roxane (James) Snyder, Carrolltown; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. US Marine Veteran having served during the Korean War and Vietnam Era attaining the rank of Master Sgt. Member of American Legion Post 506 Carrolltown and life member of Patton VFW Post 779. Retired coalminer from Greenwich Collieries. Member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Colver and Knights of Columbus, Carrolltown Council. George loved woodworking and was well known for his generous donations to Toys for Tots, crafting wooden trucks, cars, and rocking chairs for doll babies. He also made both small and large rocking horses for his grandchildren, treasured gifts that continue to bring joy. Family was everything to him, and he had an enormous love for children, which shined through in his craftsmanship and his daily life. Family and friends will be received from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc. Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 9, 2026, at Holy Family Church, Colver. Fr. Chris Lemme and Fr. Michael Thomas concelebrants. Committal, St. Mary’s Cemetery, Patton.
